How BGCAN works
A step-by-step walk-through to show new agencies, casting directors and performers how to use it. Questions? See the FAQ.
For performers and parents
Free to useKeep your calendar, sizes and photos current so your agency can put you forward for the right work, and answer availability checks from your phone.
- 1
Set up your login
Your agency emails you an invite. Tap it and choose a password. Parents: all your children are on one login. Forgot your password? Use “Forgot password” on the sign-in page, or ask your agency to send a reset.

Keep your calendar up to date
Tap the days you can't work. Use the weekday switches for days you're never available, like every Wednesday. Booked days show on the calendar too.

- 3
Photos, sizes and what you can bring
Add a current headshot, a selfie and a full-body photo (up to 10 photos). Keep your sizes current, and add up to two vehicles, pets, costumes and wardrobe you own; productions often pay extra for these.

Answer availability checks
When your agency asks if you're free, answer Yes, No or Maybe in the app, from the button in the email, or by texting YES or NO back. Your answer updates your calendar.

Know who sees what
Casting directors see your photos, sizes, wardrobe, vehicles, training and restrictions, never your contact details. Allergies, phobias and access needs stay with your agency unless you tick “OK to show casting” for an item.
- 6
Pro (optional)
Performer Pro adds your stats (days worked each month, the shows you worked on most, what you're cast as), a year-end spreadsheet, your bookings in your phone's calendar and no ads. Your agency and casting see your profile the same way whether or not you have Pro.
Where: Go Pro
Agencies and casting directors create an account. Performers get an invite from their agency.
